Jai Simha Story

The film begins with Narasimha, a wanderer traveling across Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu with his newborn son in search of peace. In Kumbakonam, he visits a temple during Rathasapthami, where a misunderstanding brands his child inauspicious. A benevolent temple secretary, Murali Krishna, shelters Narasimha, offers him work, and introduces him to the servants’ quarters.

Meanwhile, Kaniyappan, a local don, runs illegal trades and dotes on his younger brother, Pandey. The newly appointed ASP Ravi Shankar, arrogant and corrupt, shields Kaniyappan in exchange for bribes. When Narasimha publicly resists the ASP’s abuse of power, hostility begins. During this period, Murali Krishna’s spoiled daughter Dhanya drunkenly causes an accident that critically injures Pandey. Enraged, Kaniyappan attacks Murali Krishna’s household, but Narasimha takes the blame, endures the assault, and reforms Dhanya, who falls for him.

Events intensify when Central Minister Veera Raghava Reddy insults the temple priest, leading ASP Ravi Shankar to slap him. Media coverage sparks agitation, forcing Narasimha to coerce the ASP into a public apology. Watching from Vizag, the vindictive politician Thota Rami Reddy vows revenge. Soon after, ASP Ravi Shankar murders Pandey, igniting a feud with Kaniyappan. The don retaliates by abducting the ASP’s son, framing Narasimha for Pandey’s murder. En route to prison, Narasimha encounters goons carrying his own kidnapped child; he escapes custody, defeats Kaniyappan, and rescues both children. To his shock, the ASP remorsefully bows before him, but Narasimha notices disdain in the eyes of the ASP’s wife, Gauri.

The twist unfolds when Dhanya arrives holding Narasimha’s child—identical to the ASP’s son. Dhanya confronts him, prompting Narasimha to reveal his past. Narasimha and Gauri were childhood friends whose bond blossomed into love. Gauri, the daughter of a schoolteacher, returned from her studies to find Narasimha running a mechanic shed, where he cared for his workers, especially Manga, a lively young woman. When Rami Reddy’s son Ravi Shankar Reddy lost his MLA nomination due to Narasimha’s resistance against social injustices, he committed suicide. Enraged, Rami Reddy attacked Manga’s wedding, killing many, including the groom. Narasimha retaliated, killing Rami Reddy’s men, and was sentenced to death.

Before his execution, Narasimha sought Gauri’s hand, but her father refused due to his violent life. Though Narasimha promised reform, Gauri abandoned her home for him. To protect her, Narasimha married Manga instead. They built a happy life until an accident orchestrated by Rami Reddy killed Manga during childbirth, leaving behind twins. Simultaneously, Gauri miscarried, so Narasimha secretly gave her one of his sons, a sacrifice witnessed by her father.

In the present, Rami Reddy resurfaces, allies with Kaniyappan, and abducts the ASP’s family. Narasimha rescues them but in the battle, the ASP couple is gravely injured and their child dies. At the end, Narasimha entrusts his surviving son to Gauri, vowing lifelong protection. With a heavy heart, he departs carrying the body of his deceased child.
