Rowdy Inspector Story

The film begins with Inspector Ramaraju, a sincere and stout-hearted police officer, widely respected as the “Rowdy Inspector.” Fearless in his duty, he earns admiration from Rani, a spirited auto driver who also confronts social evils. Ramaraju reforms small-time goons crushed under the tyranny of Bobarlanka Ramabrahmam, a ruthless gangster backed by Home Minister Karanam Kaasiah. When Ramabrahmam’s younger brother Narasimham harasses a student, Jyoti, and has her lecturer suspended, Ramaraju’s brother Gandhi fights back for justice. With Jyoti’s testimony, the lecturer is reinstated, angering Narasimham. In retaliation, Ramabrahmam unleashes his might, targeting Ramaraju’s grandmother. Though thwarted, he conspires further with a corrupt SP, but Ramaraju is supported by the upright DIG Jaganatham. Soon, Narasimham and his aide Rakhi abduct Jyoti, witnessed by a constable, Kanaka, who is also captured. Ramaraju investigates and arrests them, but they escape during Ramabrahmam’s attack, where Gandhi’s beloved lecturer is killed. Wracked with guilt, Ramaraju shoulders responsibility for the lecturer’s grieving mother, Parvatamma, and sister Girija, though they initially despise him. Over time, they recognize his integrity.

Meanwhile, the villains escalate their plots, framing Ramaraju through provoked clashes and political manipulation. When Ramaraju corners Rakhi, the corrupt SP murders him and blames Ramaraju. The Home Minister orders Ramaraju’s suspension, but DIG Jaganatham refuses. Enraged, the Minister slaps Ramaraju, sparking defiance. Ramabrahmam seizes the moment to assassinate the DIG and frame Ramaraju for the crime. With the department turning against him, Gandhi and Rani gather evidence to prove his innocence, but Gandhi is captured en route to the Chief Minister. Rani rescues him, and together they present the truth in court. Just then, Ramabrahmam storms the courtroom, killing the Home Minister and triggering a massive showdown. In the climax, Ramaraju and Rani vanquish the villains, restoring justice. The film ends triumphantly with the government honoring Inspector Ramaraju for his bravery and unyielding service.
