Adrusta Jathakudu Story

The film begins in a village where Anantaramaiyah, a schoolteacher, resides with his two children, Prasad and Sarada. Zamindar Raja Raghunath Rao attempts to seize the school land, which Anantaramaiyah denies. In retaliation, the Zamindar sets the school on fire, and Anantaramaiyah dies while protecting his children. Left alone, Prasad and Sarada are separated by their paternal and maternal aunts. Sarada faces hardship under her aunt Ramanamma, and Prasad seeks to reunite with his sister, but Ramanamma refuses. To care for Sarada, Prasad moves to the city and finds employment in a mechanic shed owned by Parandhamiah. Years pass, and Prasad becomes a chief mechanic, while Sarada continues to struggle under Ramanamma’s guardianship. Prasad later becomes a tenant at retired army officer Eshwar Rao’s house, where his daughter Vijaya falls in love with him and eventually marries him.

Meanwhile, a wealthy man, Gopal, deceives Sarada, who becomes pregnant. Prasad vows to resolve her plight and brings her to live with him, where Vijaya consoles her wholeheartedly. Sarada gives birth to a baby boy and identifies Gopal, Parandhamiah’s son, as the father, who acknowledges his responsibility. Parandhamiah had already ensured the matter was settled, but he later betrays Prasad by incriminating him and getting him sentenced. After being acquitted, Prasad challenges Parandhamiah and plans to marry Sarada to his son. During this time, Prasad rescues an older man attempting suicide, who turns out to be Raja Raghunath Rao, now repentant for his sins and having lost all his men. He declares Prasad as his heir. In the end, Prasad, in various disguises, reforms Parandhamiah and Gopal, and the movie concludes happily.
