Ammayi Pelli Story

Advocate Raghuram and his wife Dr. Lalitha live happily with their three children until a quarrel over their daughter Puppy’s marriage leads to ego clashes and plans for divorce. They split the house in two, sharing custody of the children month by month. Puppy, however, is in love with Ravi, the son of their family friend Raghava Rao, while her parents prefer other suitors. The children try various playful tricks to reunite their parents, but their efforts fail. Guests visiting for the couple’s wedding anniversary briefly create harmony, but once they leave, Raghu and Lalitha return to their stubbornness, leaving the children distressed.

The kids run away at night and are seemingly kidnapped, throwing the parents into panic and softening their hardened egos. When the ransom drama reaches its peak, the children refuse to return unless their parents reconcile. At last, Raghu and Lalitha admit their mistakes, embrace one another, and promise to stay together. The kidnappers are revealed to be Ravi, Rajaram, and Sitaram—who staged the act with Raghava Rao’s guidance to reunite the family. The story ends joyfully with Ravi marrying Puppy, while Rajaram and Sitaram wed Ananda Rao’s daughters, bringing closure with laughter, love, and restored unity.
