Apoorva Sahodarulu Story
The film begins in a royal dynasty where Zamindar Narendra Varma honors freedom fighter Prakasam by gifting him a portion of his estate to shelter the families of combatants. The public praises the benevolence of Narendra Varma and his wife Malini, though their childlessness troubles them deeply. Narendra Varma’s scheming brothers-in-law, Bangaru Raju and Varahalu, await their chance to usurp his wealth. Meanwhile, Narendra Varma secretly marries the humble Purna, who becomes pregnant. Learning of this, Bangaru Raju conspires and sets fire to Purna’s house, believing her dead. Around the same time, Malini gives birth, but the villains prey on her newborn, leaving Narendra Varma devastated. A kind nurse saves the day by giving him one of a pair of twins born to Purna, though Narendra Varma remains unaware. The other twin, separated during chaos, is raised by Prakasam and his wife. Thus, the brothers grow apart—Arun Kumar as a wealthy heir under Narendra Varma’s guardianship, and Ramu as a courageous young man in “Bharat Nagar,” admired for his integrity.
Years pass. Arun grows into a proud yet good-hearted youth who later reforms with the guidance of his secretary Swapna, daughter of the nurse who once saved him. Meanwhile, Ramu falls in love with Roja, daughter of Babu Rao, an agent of Bangaru Raju. The villains, continuing their smuggling activities, enslave villagers and even imprison Narendra Varma in secret. When misunderstandings pit Ramu and Arun against each other, Bangaru Raju manipulates events to seize power. At one point, Ramu is falsely imprisoned, Purna is captured, and Arun is deceived into doubting Swapna. Eventually, the truth unfolds—Ramu and Arun discover they are twin brothers, sons of Narendra Varma and Purna. In the climax, the brothers reunite, outwit the villains, rescue their parents, and protect the hidden family treasure. The film ends joyfully with Arun marrying Swapna and Ramu marrying Roja, bringing harmony to the fractured family.
