[[Rao Bahadur]] Ramadasu is devious and believes in leading a luxurious life on credit from perennial debtors. Dr. Raghu, his son, is civilizing at [[London]]. Besides, [[Diwan Bahadur]] Mukunda Rao, a generous tycoon, wants to make a royal alliance with his granddaughter Manjuri. Ramadasu ruses to knit Raghu with Manjari to sort out his obligations. Indeed, Raghu was already espoused with benevolent Leela in his childhood, whom Ramadasu expelled. Bhaja Govindam is the manager for Ramadasu, but a good soul & brilliant organizer. He aids his chair in creating & avoiding loans and does the same. Raja, Leela’s sibling, has been beloved by Manjari and acquitted from prison after participating in the independence movement. Bhaja Govindam is a mutual friend to them. Raja is aware of the schemes & wrongs of Ramadasu. So, he walks to him with Leela in the suit. Despite Raja’s refusal, Leela implores & accepts to stay as a maid, forged in the as mute and his stanch Chenchaiah’s daughter. According to Bhaja Govindam’s game, Raja disguises as the king of Bonkulamarri and tenants at Mukunda Rao’s residence with Manjari’s aid. Parallelly, as a glimpse, Bhaja Govindam crushes on his maternal uncle Ramalingam’s daughter Usha, the sly manager of Mukunda Rao, who denies wedlock them for his greed. He looks at other matches, which Bhaja Govindam funnily spoils. Raghu arrives, his father hoodwinks him with his wife’s death, and he crafts to patch up with Manjari.

However, Chenchaiah divulges the actuality to him, who mingles in the play and teases Leela. In line with this, Raghu flirts with Manjari, which enrages Mukunda Rao and fixes the alliance of Raja & Manjari. Since Raja is unwilling to be deceitful, he proclaims the fact to him via a letter, which Manjari hides. Unfortunately, it is at the hands of Ramadasu who compels Raja to exit, showing Leela. Plus, he forcibly makes Mukunda Rao agree to a splice with Raghu. Here, Bhaja Govindam schemes by turning Raja into a saint, Sarva Bhashaka Swamy, who set foot in Ramalingam’s house. They do a minor act of Usha detesting Bhaja Govindam, and he, too, joins as his disciple. By which Raja re-accesses Mukunda Rao’s home and starts his comic tale. For now, Bhaja Govindam strikes up to teach a lesson to Ramalingam. He airs his men as an alliance for Usha, who bestows costume jewelry, which they only steal at night, and throws Ramalingam into bankruptcy. Besides, Raghu enacts by introducing Bhaja Govindam’s sidekick Takku as his foreign demanding wife. She seeks a high amount as compensation for the divorce. So, Ramadasu ploys a theft at Mukunda Rao’s house under the guidance of Bhaja Govindam by incriminating Raja in Swamiji attire. Anyhow, Raja tactically removes cash from the locker and places white papers. On the contrary, they encourage Ramalingam to rob to pay off his debts—all land therein, which takes hilarious twists. At last, with a sitcom, Ramadasu & Mukunda Rao eat humble pie. Finally, the movie ends happily with the marriage of 3 turtle doves.
