A Day of Dignity, Warmth and Shared Humanity at Shanthiniketan Foundation
The visit to Shanthiniketan Foundation, Home for Mentally Handicapped, became much more than a donation programme; it became a quiet moment of human connection. Under the auspices of Dr. Bhargava Teja Balijepalli Trust, the distribution of new dresses carried the spirit of remembrance, service and compassion that the Trust seeks to preserve through public contribution and living memory. The website itself presents the Trust as a continuation of Dr. Bhargava Teja’s values through remembrance, scholarship, cultural learning and public service.
Led with affection and commitment by the trustees, particularly Ramesh Mudavath, Vidyadhar Challa, Sricharan Challa and Gayathri Rachakonda, the event touched every heart present. The smiles, folded hands, quiet glances and moments of togetherness reflected something deeper than charity: they reflected belonging. In front of the Shanthiniketan Foundation board, surrounded by residents, caregivers and well-wishers, the Trust stood not merely as an institution, but as an extended family carrying forward Dr. Bhargava Teja’s name through kindness in action.
The new dresses were a simple offering, but the emotions they created were profound. For every person gathered there, the day became a reminder that service is not measured only by what is given, but by the dignity with which it is offered. In Dr. Bhargava Teja’s cherished memory, the Trust continues to transform remembrance into responsibility, and responsibility into love — one gesture, one visit, one life-touching moment at a time.

Every year, September 16 is not just a date for the Dasu’s Balijepalli family. It is a day filled with memory, love, silence, gratitude, and purpose.
It marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhargava Teja Balijepalli — a beloved son, a bright scholar, a management thinker, and a compassionate soul whose life, though brief, continues to guide many hearts.
He studied management, but he saw it not merely as a profession. He connected modern management with ethics, Indian knowledge systems, social responsibility, and the timeless wisdom of our scriptures. His thoughts remind us that true leadership is not about power, but about service.
On this commemoration day, the trustees chose a humble way to remember him: by offering food to patients’ attendants, supporters, and loved ones near Basavatarakam Hospital, KBR Park.
Each plate served carried more than food.
It carried affection.
It carried remembrance.
It carried the message that society becomes better when compassion becomes action.
For the Balijepalli and Dasu families, this is not only a remembrance. It is a promise — to keep his ideals alive through service, ethics, learning, and care for society. Dr. Bhargava Teja may not be with us physically, but his values continue to walk with every act of kindness. Let us remember him not only with flowers, but with service. Not only with words, but with action. Not only as a memory, but as a mission. From memory to mission. From grief to guidance. From one life to many lives touched.
A Day of Remembrance. A Lifetime of Service.
December 21 is not just a date for us. It is a day when the absence of Dr. Bhargava Teja Balijepalli is felt deeply, silently, and emotionally.
But true lives never end with physical absence. They continue as ideals. They continue as courage. They continue as service.
His ideology keeps reminding us that our role in society is not limited to moments of comfort and prosperity. It becomes more meaningful in adversity, when people need food, care, dignity, and a human hand of support.
On September 16, when we reached Basavatarakam Hospital, the love and gratitude we received from the people there became unforgettable. Perhaps we forgot the date, but destiny did not. December 21 came again as a call of conscience — a reminder that Bhargava Teja’s birthday is not to be remembered only once, but to be lived again and again through service.
With the same spirit, we returned. With greater vigour, tenacity, commitment, and humility, food was served. Smiles were shared. Blessings were received. And in every plate offered, we could feel the reflection of Dr. Bhargava Teja.
He may not be physically among us, but his thoughts continue to walk with us. Let us not wait for special occasions to serve. Let us make service our habit, compassion our language, and society our larger family. In prosperity, let us give.In adversity, let us stand. In remembrance, let us serve.
