Bala Gopaludu Story

The film begins in a village ruled by Narasimham, a ruthless tyrant who exploits farmers, intimidates peasants, and conspires to seize their barren lands. Standing against him is Bangaru Muvva Bala Gopalam, a daring and upright man who vows to protect the villagers. Around this time, two orphans, Raju and Lakshmi, escape from an orphanage after harsh punishment and arrive in the village. Cleverly, they find their way into Gopalam’s home, drawn by his kindness and integrity. Gopalam soon grows fond of the children, embracing them as his own and promising never to let them feel like orphans again. Meanwhile, Rekha, a proud doctor and daughter of wealthy tycoon Shekar Rao, comes to the village to conduct a medical camp. When Gopalam embarrasses her friends during a quarrel, the children begin to dream of Rekha as their mother and want her to marry their foster father. In their eagerness, they secretly place Gopalam’s photograph in a matrimonial ad without his knowledge. Suspicious, Rekha notices it and decides to investigate. Disguising herself as a rustic woman named Subba Lakshmi, she wins Gopalam’s trust and love, agreeing to marry him. But just before the wedding, she reveals her deception and mocks him.

Humiliated but determined, Gopalam challenges Rekha that he will win her back as the true mother of his children. He travels to the city, where Shekar Rao arranges Rekha’s marriage to his scheming nephew Govinda Babu, a match Rekha detests. Over time, she realizes Gopalam’s virtues and chooses to stand by him. Meanwhile, Narasimham seizes the opportunity to tighten his hold on the village. In league with Shekar Rao and Govinda Babu, he abducts the children from Gopalam and plots to devastate the village. In the gripping climax, Gopalam outsmarts the villains, the children escape captivity, and Narasimham’s tyranny is brought to an end. The film concludes on a heartwarming note, with the children joyfully reuniting with Gopalam and Rekha, finally securing the loving family they always longed for.
