Bangaru Bullodu Story

The film opens with Nana, a ruthless terrorist who abducts a group of schoolchildren to demand the release of his brother Chinna. DIG Banerjee launches a daring rescue mission during which Chinna is killed, igniting Nana’s thirst for vengeance against Banerjee and his family. Nana eventually surrenders, plotting to destroy Banerjee’s clan from within. The story then shifts to the peaceful village of Pudipalli on the banks of the Godavari. There lives the valiant Balakrishna (Balaiah), who resides with his mother Annapurnamma and constantly thwarts the schemes of his unscrupulous uncle Ramadasu. Rani, Ramadasu’s possessive daughter, adores Balaiah and drives away any girl who comes near him. But when Priya, the daughter of Ram Mohan Rao (a cousin of Annapurnamma), returns from abroad with her caretaker Tulasamma, Balaiah is instantly drawn to her, sparking jealousy in Rani. Their rivalry escalates into a bet—Priya must win Balaiah’s love, while Rani swears he will accept no one but her.

Priya cunningly feigns love and eventually wins Balaiah’s heart. During a festival, she challenges him to prove his love by retrieving her ring from an anthill, but he is bitten by a snake in the process. As he lies near death, Priya reveals the bet, shattering him. In anger, Balaiah forcibly ties a mangalasutram around her neck. At this point, Tulasamma is revealed to be an undercover cop working with Commissioner Srikanth, who discloses that assassins are after Priya. Ramadasu overhears their secret and begins blackmailing them until he is jailed. Gradually, Rani realizes Balaiah and Priya are destined for each other and steps aside. One night, Balaiah learns the truth—Priya is not his cousin but the only surviving daughter of DIG Banerjee, hidden in Pudipalli after Nana massacred her family. With Nana’s execution day looming, he escapes prison and learns Priya’s location from Ramadasu. Betrayal follows when Srikanth himself reveals sinister intentions toward Priya, killing Tulasamma, but Balaiah steps in to save her. In a final confrontation, Balaiah defeats Srikanth and Nana, restoring peace. The film ends on a lighthearted note, with Balaiah and Priya finally united in marriage, while Priya and Rani humorously argue over serving him a glass of milk on their wedding night.
