Bhargava Ramudu Story
The film begins with Minister Rajashekaram, a corrupt politician determined to push through a government project called Jala Ganga. When Venal, an assistant engineer, refuses to cooperate, Rajashekaram murders him. Meanwhile, Bhargav, an unemployed engineering graduate, struggles to find work while living with his mother, Parvati. He resents his father, Tagore, for abandoning the family. Bhargav applies for Venal’s vacant post, but Rajashekaram pressures Chief Engineer Bhanogi Rao—father of Bhargav’s love interest, Latha—to nominate his own son. Despite the manipulation, Bhargav earns the position on merit. Just before joining, tragedy strikes when Parvati dies due to medical negligence. Enraged, Bhargav assaults the doctor but is released with the help of Latha’s uncle, DIG Pratap Rao. Taking charge of his new job, Bhargav resists Rajashekaram’s attempts to corrupt him and even reforms Roja, a woman Rajashekaram sends to seduce him. In retaliation, Rajashekaram frames Bhargav for bribery, landing him in prison.
There, Bhargav discovers his estranged father, Tagore, incarcerated. Tagore reveals his past: once a respected labor union leader, he had opposed Rajashekaram, then an MP, who colluded with his henchmen to frame Tagore as a fraud. Betrayed and disgraced, Tagore plotted to kill Rajashekaram but lost his ally Janardhan in the conflict, leaving Janardhan’s daughter alone. Moved by the truth, Bhargav forgives and reconciles with his father. Rajashekaram, however, plots to eliminate Bhargav, prompting Tagore to sacrifice his life to save his son. After his release, a vengeful Bhargav confronts Rajashekaram. With Roja’s help—revealed to be Janardhan’s daughter—he gathers evidence against the minister. In the climax, Bhargav defeats the villains, while Roja kills Rajashekaram and surrenders herself to the law. The film ends on a happy note with the marriage of Bhargav and Latha.
