Legend Story
The film begins at [[Vizag]] in 1989. Jeetendra, a cruel [[Political faction|faction]] leader from [[Kurnool]], visits to fix up his alliance with the local [[Member of the Legislative Assembly (India)|MLA]]’s daughter. During their return, he drives into an accident and fires for all to fear. In that region, a family shares the hardships of the public despite the arbitrator’s mother’s hindrance to being out of violence. The arbitrator deserts Jeetendra to apologize when he talks smack. Therein, he affronts, slaps Jeetendra, and apprehends him, igniting enmity. To acquit Jeetendra, his father abducts the arbitrator’s wife and son. Soon after release, Jeetendra shockingly sees his father dead. He believes the boy eliminated his father as he slew his mother. The incident severely impacts the arbitrator’s mother, who asks him to stop, but he replies that it has only begun and the answer is his son, the Legend. Jeetendra’s feud becomes permanent, and he settles in Vizag to seize authority, even killing the arbitrator. A frightened old woman then sends her grandson far away.
The tale shifts to [[Dubai]] in 2014, where Krishna, a valorous young man intolerant of injustice, thrashes lawbreakers. He proceeds to [[India]] with his fiancée Sneha for their wedding. On the way, he sees Jeetendra’s elder son Chotu assassinate a former MLA, Simhachalam, to close a pending case and elevate his father as [[Chief minister (India)|Chief Minister]]. Krishna thrashes him, witnessed by Sneha’s father, a [[District Collector|DC]], who later warns Krishna about Jeetendra’s brutality. The next day, Chotu mysteriously dies in the hospital, enraging Jeetendra, who vows revenge. Since CCTV [[footage]] is missing at two sites, Jeetendra concludes the killer is the same man. Overhearing this, DC cancels the match and bars Sneha. However, she runs away but is caught by Jeetendra, who learns Krishna’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Krishna is en route to the wedding venue with his family when Jeetendra’s men attack. Krishna collapses from Jeetendra’s bullets, and the miscreant orders his family’s slaughter. At that moment, Jaidev—the Legend and Krishna’s elder brother—arrives, launching a ferocious counterattack and shielding them. He proclaims to Jeetendra that he was the one who killed Chotu and warns him never to look back. The narrative flashes to 1999, when Jeetendra rose in politics by eliminating opposition, while Jaidev emerged as the arbiter of the land, revered by all except his grandmother, who ostracized him for his violent path. Yet Jaidev always protected his family, upheld women’s dignity, and cherished his cousin Radhika, his childhood confidante. Later, when a [[Union minister]] challenges him to free Jeetendra and groom him as CM, Jaidev resists. In retaliation, Jeetendra’s brother abducts Krishna, but Jaidev rescues him and even spares Jeetendra at his wife’s plea. Soon, Jaidev prepares to wed Radhika, but Jeetendra captures and kills her, leading to Jaidev’s partial regret and departure. In the present, Krishna recovers at the hospital, where Jaidev’s grandmother apologizes, accepting her mistake and reuniting with him. Meanwhile, Jeetendra conspires to seize the CM seat through horse-trading MLAs, but Jaidev foils it by hiding them and reforming their loyalty. In a final confrontation, Jeetendra attacks, but Jaidev defeats him. The film ends with the Legend continuing his legacy.
