Aayanaki Iddaru Story
The film begins with widower Krishna Murthy remarrying a kind-hearted woman, Lakshmi, which angers his arrogant daughter Ramya. Soon, Lakshmi gives birth to a girl, Ooha, but continues to shower love on Ramya, who grows resentful of both mother and sister. From childhood, Ramya demands everything that Ooha desires, while Lakshmi teaches Ooha to give up for her elder sister’s sake. Surya, a renowned novelist writing for Jabilli magazine owned by Nageshwara Rao, becomes the secret love of Ooha through letters. Impressed by her words, Surya also falls in love without seeing her. When Surya tracks down her address, he mistakes Ramya for Ooha, and Ramya too falls for him. Surya formally proposes marriage, filling Ooha with joy until she discovers he intends to wed Ramya. Meanwhile, a manipulative photographer, Mysore Jackson, traps Ramya into modeling, pushing her toward dreams of stardom. On the wedding day, Jackson convinces Ramya to postpone her marriage to pursue acting, leaving Surya humiliated. To preserve his honor, Surya marries Ooha, though she reluctantly agrees at her grandfather’s urging.
After marriage, Ooha insists Surya can never truly be hers since he belongs to Ramya, and Surya promises not to touch her. Later, Ooha finds her framed love letters and realizes that Surya’s heart belongs only to her. Before she can confess, Ramya returns, accusing them and causing turmoil, which leads Krishna Murthy to disown her. Distraught, Ramya attempts suicide but is saved by Surya and Ooha. Still envious, Ramya tries to create a rift between the couple. At this time, Nageshwara Rao pressures Surya for a new novel, and he drafts Aayanaki Iddaru (“One Man, Two Wives”), mirroring his real-life predicament. Tensions escalate as both sisters demand Surya choose, and he shocks everyone by taking Ramya to a suicide spot, forcing her to confront her mistakes. Ramya reforms, while Ooha, influenced by the story’s climax, consumes poison to sacrifice herself. She is rushed to the hospital, where Surya defends his love for her and exposes the flaws in her upbringing. Finally, Ramya reconciles with them, uniting Surya and Ooha in a happy ending.
