Balaramakrishnulu Story
The film begins in a village where a bitter family feud rages between siblings Balaramaiah and Krishna Murthy, both respected arbitrators. Balaramaiah, driven by caste pride, ostracizes his half-brother Krishna Murthy and their sister Seeta, manipulated by his cunning relative Chintamani. Since their mother belonged to a lower caste, Krishna Murthy and Seeta are forced to live separately within the same ancestral compound. Balaramaiah resides with his kind-hearted wife Vasumati and daughter Pooja, while Vasumati secretly cares for Krishna Murthy’s family. Meanwhile, their cousin Shivaji arrives, is sheltered by Krishna Murthy, and eventually falls in love with Pooja. Trouble brews when Chintamani’s wayward son Antharvedi attempts to molest Pooja, but Krishna Murthy saves her. Chintamani exploits the situation, dragging it to the panchayat, where Krishna Murthy silently accepts punishment to preserve his brother’s honor. Further humiliation follows when Balaramaiah ruins Seeta’s marriage prospects by branding her and Krishna Murthy as illegitimate, even shaming him during their father’s ceremony. Krishna Murthy bears the pain with patience, while a liquor contractor, Nukkaraju, enters the village to start his business but is opposed by both brothers, leaving him seething for revenge.
As tensions grow, Chintamani proposes Pooja’s marriage to Antharvedi, but Balaramaiah rejects it, deepening the enmity. Chintamani allies with Nukkaraju, waiting for the right moment to strike. Soon, the brothers discover Shivaji and Pooja’s love, enraging Balaramaiah, who nearly kills his daughter until Vasumati stops him. Krishna Murthy vows to unite the lovers, ready to face any opposition. While Balaramaiah seeks new matches for Pooja, Chintamani sabotages them and manipulates him into agreeing to wed her to Antharvedi, also making him a pawn to support Nukkaraju’s liquor business and seize control of the family’s temple authority. When Shivaji and Pooja attempt to elope, Balaramaiah angrily declares his daughter dead. Krishna Murthy then resolves to marry them himself, but Nukkaraju and Chintamani abduct Seeta, gravely injuring her. In the rescue that follows, Vasumati confronts Balaramaiah and reveals truths he never knew. Realizing his mistakes, Balaramaiah repents, embraces his sister, and unites with Krishna Murthy to defeat their enemies. The story ends with the long-divided family finally reunited in harmony.
