Bhale Pellam Story

The film begins with Nanda Gopal, fondly called Nandu, a successful industrialist. Bharati, a mischievous and carefree girl, often stirs trouble with her antics, while her college mate Raja harbors malicious intentions of possessing her. Nandu greatly respects his loyal manager, who wishes to marry his daughter Anjali to him. By fate, Anjali and Bharati become best friends, and during Anjali’s birthday celebration, Bharati encounters Nandu and instantly falls in love. Determined to win him over, she relentlessly pursues him with her mischief until Nandu eventually falls for her too, leading to their marriage. This enrages Raja, who vows revenge. One day, while Nandu is out of town, Raja visits Bharati and deliberately embraces her just as Nandu returns. Misunderstanding the situation, Nandu suspects Bharati’s fidelity and throws her out, while Raja further fuels the rift. Heartbroken, Nandu turns to alcohol and files for divorce.

In the meantime, Anjali attempts to mediate between the couple despite warnings, but after a heated argument with Nandu, she leaves and is murdered by Raja, who pushes her from a terrace and frames Nandu for the crime. In this crisis, Bharati stands firmly by her husband’s side. Fortunately, her friend Madhavan Nair, a photographer, accidentally captures Raja committing the murder. When Raja realizes this, he seizes the evidence and tries to assault Bharati, but she fights back, kills him, and secures the proof. Presenting it in court, she clears Nandu of all charges. In the end, justice prevails, Raja’s schemes collapse, and Nandu and Bharati reunite happily.
