Chilakkottudu Story

The film begins with Jagapati, a flirtatious young man who runs a photo studio with his friend Prasad. During a photo session, he is smitten by Indraja, daughter of factionist Kadapa Kota, and begins chasing her. Later, he heads to Bombay, where he charms another beauty, Bombay Papa. Upon his return, Jagapati encounters three attractive air hostesses—Madhu, Gautami, and Kasturi—at an airport and becomes determined to win them all. With Prasad’s help and the trickster Brahmanandam, they pose Jagapati as a wealthy tycoon and lure the hostesses. They secretly rent a villa belonging to drunkard AVS, with the aid of watchman Relangi Ramana Reddy, and Jagapati juggles all three women by hiding them in separate rooms, leading to comic confusion. Meanwhile, Kadapa Kota takes a political vow of peace for three months, while his rival Ashok Kumar plots to ruin him unsuccessfully.

Unaware of Jagapati’s games, the three air hostesses become friends and arrange a get-together with their supposed fiancé—only to nearly catch him. Indraja rescues Jagapati by abducting him, and they consummate their relationship. Chaos deepens when Brahmanandam’s coded chatter about the hostesses is overheard by CBI officers Mallikarjuna Rao and Leg, who mistake them for terrorists and infiltrate the villa as servants. AVS eventually discovers the deception, but after losing his memory, he is duped into becoming the watchman. Just as Kadapa Kota’s vow nears completion, he learns of Indraja’s pregnancy, explodes in rage, and targets Jagapati. Meanwhile, Gautami mistakenly kisses Prasad, sparking genuine love between them. When the tangled lies are exposed, the women turn on Jagapati. In the end, as he tries to escape with Bombay Papa, the police apprehend him, while the CBI officers arrest Prasad and Brahmanandam, wrapping up the farcical saga.
