Nandeeswarudu Story
The film begins with Nandeswara (Nandu), a crime lord whose presence makes it difficult for the government to function. To eliminate him, the Home Minister entrusts the task to a fearless yet witty officer, Commissioner Eeswar Prasad. While devising a strategy, Eeswar Prasad looks into Nandu’s past. Nandu hails from a neighboring village where his father, Ananda Bhupati, is a respected arbiter and head of their community. He lives a joyful life in a close-knit joint family, and his mother Lakshmi dreams of seeing him become an IPS officer. To fulfill this ambition, Nandu moves to the city, where he meets and falls for Pragati. Meanwhile, Ranga Rao, the father-in-law of Nandu’s brother Sivaji, humiliates and expels Ananda Bhupati. Enraged, Nandu breaks Ranga Rao’s leg and is punished for it. Upon release, he avoids returning home, restrained by both his criminal status and the oath he gave his mother.
Back in the city, Nandu stays with friends and witnesses the atrocities of a ruthless gang led by Babanna and his henchmen Vasanth and Naganna. When Vasanth disgraces Seenu’s mother Yashoda and mutilates young Chinna, who shares a close bond with Nandu, the furious Nandu kills Vasanth and later Naganna. From then on, the public reveres him as a savior, as he delivers justice where the law has failed. Alarmed, Eeswar Prasad issues an ultimatum to Nandu and cautions his family, but they instead take pride in his rise. With the Chief Minister’s approval, Eeswar Prasad begins a mission to eradicate criminals and overthrow the corrupt Home Minister. The Home Minister, in turn, conspires with Babanna to kill Nandu, leading to the death of his friend Saleem. Vowing revenge, Nandu wipes out his enemies. Eventually, Eeswar Prasad confronts him but reveals his real plan: he staged a fake encounter to clear Nandu’s name and transform him into a police officer. In gratitude, Nandu and his family thank Eeswar Prasad. The film concludes on a happy note with Nandu’s marriage to Pragati.
