Theerpu Story
Justice Ram Mohan Rao, a man of integrity, apprehends his second son Venu, a Naxalite, who dies in an encounter. His wife Parvati, devastated, falls into silence. The couple has two more sons and a daughter: ACP Madhu, who appears upright but is secretly corrupt; Ravi, a slacker who nonetheless believes in justice; and Gowtami, who is in love with Raghu, the son of Buchi Babu, an ambitious criminal. Ravi falls for the fiery Rani, but when he catches Madhu’s corruption, Madhu turns the tables and implicates Ravi, leading Ram Mohan Rao to expel him. Despite this, Ravi remains silent, unwilling to tarnish his father’s faith in Madhu. Meanwhile, Ram Mohan Rao seeks an alliance for Gowtami with his mentor Gopal Krishna’s family, but during the meeting, Buchi Babu kills Gopal Krishna’s grandson Sairam while trying to impress Swathi, Gopal Krishna’s daughter. In the chaos, Gopal Krishna dies, and Ram Mohan Rao files the case. Buchi Babu manipulates Parvati into persuading her husband to forgive him, forcing Ram Mohan Rao to free him, only to be betrayed in return.
Soon after, Ram Mohan Rao learns of Madhu’s corruption and disowns him, while recognizing Ravi’s true virtue and embracing him. When Buchi Babu attempts to kill the injured Sairam, Ravi intervenes and saves him, but Buchi Babu strikes again with Madhu’s support. In the confrontation, Madhu shoots Ravi, only for Ram Mohan Rao to retaliate and wound Madhu. In a final act of redemption, Madhu sacrifices himself to protect his father from Buchi Babu’s bullet, dying repentant. Ram Mohan Rao ultimately kills Buchi Babu, and the judiciary acquits him, acknowledging his righteous judgment.
