The film begins with two besties, Prakash and Shekar. Indeed, Prakash is devious and snares Prakash’s sister Vimala into love. Moreover, his mother, Kamalamma, detests Prakash’s family and aspires to conduct an affluent match for her son. Once, Prakash is acquainted with a girl named Kokila, the daughter of a millionaire, Kameswara Rao, and they crush. Unbeknownst to it, Kamalamma moves to Kameswara Rao with the proposal when she begrudges to know the status. Meanwhile, in a business deal, Shekar disputes with a broker, and accidentally, the broker dies. Here, Prakash incriminates himself on gratitude and assurance that Shekar knits Vimala, and the judiciary sentences him to six years. Following this, Shekar nuptials Vimala secretly and outwits her after she conceives. Distressed, Vimala attempts suicide but is secured and sheltered by a wise Ramayya, where she gives birth to a baby boy.

Time passes, and Prakash acquits when Shekar deludes him with the elopement of Vimala. Hence, forlorn Prakash quits the town. Ahead, Vimala becomes a music teacher and joins for tuition at malice Dhanakoti, who tries to molest her when Prakash shields her. As of now, Prakash discerns the devilish shade of Shekar. Parallelly, Shekar ruses to splice Kokila and coerce her when Prakash safeguards her. Accordingly, all are aware of Prakash’s probity. Meanwhile, Shekar detects the existence of Vimala with a child and abducts them. However, Prakash arrives in time and seeks to slay Shekar. Vimala bars his way when Shekar reforms after soul-searching. At last, Kamalamma is also remorseful. Finally, the movie ends with the marriage of Prakash and Kokila and the surrender of Shekar.
