Jeevitha Chakram Story

Raja, the son of the wealthy Dharma Rao, arrives from abroad unbeknownst to all. Susheela, a bourgeois clerk in their firm, is the breadwinner of her extended family. For their nurture, she is also taking homeschooling at the residence of Shankar, who silently adores her. Raja meets Susheela without knowing she works for his father. He also acts as an ordinary man, and they fall in love. Once, Raja heads to his village, where his maternal uncle Bhushaiah, aunt Sitamma, and their daughter Kamala reside. Kamala has loved Raja since childhood, but he treats her only as a friend. Later, Susheela learns of Raja’s true identity and initially resents him but later understands his virtue. Dharma Rao and Bhushaiah plan to marry Raja to Kamala, but Raja declares his love for Susheela. Kamala collapses upon hearing this. Raja and Susheela’s bridal arrangements proceed, but Raja receives a call about Kamala’s critical condition. He rushes to her, and she makes him marry her as her last wish, which he does wholeheartedly, reviving her with his devotion.

Afterward, Raja returns to Susheela, who is enduring disgrace from her family, who believe Raja betrayed her. She, however, remains faithful. Raja is torn between Susheela and Kamala. Kamala, aware of Raja’s love for Susheela, pleads for a re-marriage, which he denies, upholding the sanctity of marriage. Shankar expresses his love to Susheela, but she reveals her engagement with Raja. Fate makes Shankar and Raja friends, and Shankar warns Raja not to toy with life. Disheartened, Raja has an accident, and Susheela learns the truth. Kamala attempts self-sacrifice, but Susheela shields her. In the end, Susheela unites Raja and Kamala and moves on. The movie concludes with the proclamation: “All humans are pawns who should face ups and downs in the life cycle.”
