Oke Kutumbham Story

The film tells the story of Martandam, a greedy jeweler whose crime of murdering a Zamindar and framing his driver Manikyam tears several families apart. Manikyam’s wife dies at childbirth, leaving behind two daughters: Sita, raised by a neighbor, and Mary, raised by James, a kindhearted millionaire. Meanwhile, Martandam’s kidnapped son Ramu is saved and brought up by a noble man, Ismail, who names him Rahim. Years pass, and Rahim grows into a selfless leader of the poor, while Sita, Mary, and Martandam’s other son Chandram become entangled in love and destiny. Martandam schemes to seize land and split relationships, while Mary openly declares her love for Rahim even after he is disfigured in an acid attack.

As truths unfold, identities are revealed: Sita is Manikyam’s daughter, Mary is her sister, and Rahim is actually Ramu, Martandam’s lost son. Chandram, now a police officer, reunites with Sita, and Rahim helps mend all broken ties. In the climax, Martandam’s own evils catch up to him—he is blinded in a fire, realizes his sins, and entrusts his wealth to the poor. Manikyam repents, and the families are reconciled. The story closes with Rahim proclaiming that the world is one family beyond barriers of caste and religion, affirming love, unity, and justice.
