Aanimuthyam Story
The film begins with two tutors, Ravi Chandra and Prashanti, who are in love. One day, a goon named Bhanoji Rao molests Prashanti, and she conceives. Nevertheless, Ravi Chandra nobly accepts her along with the baby. However, Prashanti despises the child, Murali, seeing him as a reminder of her trauma, while Ravi Chandra showers him with affection. Later, the couple is blessed with a second son, Suresh. Years pass, and Murali grows into an honest police officer, while Suresh turns into a wayward and corrupt man. Prashanti continues to loathe Murali, though Ravi Chandra holds him dear. Meanwhile, Bhanoji Rao rises as a powerful gangster under a respectable facade, spreading chaos in society. Murali, unaware of their connection, stands as his strongest rival. To weaken him, Bhanoji Rao manipulates Suresh, but Murali remains unshaken. In a violent clash, Bhanoji Rao attempts to kill Murali, but Ravi Chandra sacrifices his life to protect him. Before dying, he urges Prashanti to understand Murali’s true worth and to give him her motherly love.
Even in grief, Suresh fails to attend his father’s funeral, further alienating himself. Bhanoji Rao, meanwhile, conspires to betray the country by selling national secrets. Murali launches a mission to stop him, during which Prashanti finally reveals the truth of his birth. Heartbroken but resolute, Murali vows to protect his brother, Suresh, as the last memory of his father. In the final showdown, Murali dismantles Bhanoji Rao’s empire and confronts Suresh, who treacherously tries to kill him. In a shocking turn, Prashanti herself shoots Suresh, sacrificing her son for the sake of the nation. The film concludes with the government commending Prashanti for her patriotism and honoring Murali with the Gold Medal.
