Ayyare Story
The film begins with ACP Gajapati, a ruthless police officer, ordering his men to kill a mysterious man named Prasad. Somehow, Prasad escapes and hides in a bar, where he meets Venkatesh (Venky), a carefree mechanic and drunkard. Venky offers him food and insists that he listen to his story. Venky recalls falling in love with Anjali, the daughter of wealthy businessman Siva Prasad. To win her heart, Venky pretended to be disciplined and upright, and although Anjali discovered his act, she loved his sincerity. Siva Prasad initially approved their match but suddenly rejected it the next day, leaving Venky confused. Prasad then reveals his shocking past: once a humble security guard, he adored his motherless daughter, who was diagnosed with cancer and required {{INRConvert|1000000}} for treatment. In desperation, Prasad planned to go abroad, but a travel agent cheated him. Broken, he encountered a saint who claimed to be immortal through the power of Parakaya Pravesha. When the saint died, Prasad discovered his wealth and disguised himself as the saint’s reincarnation, quickly gaining fame and wealth through the public’s blind belief. Even Siva Prasad sought him out as a spiritual guide, unaware of his deception.
As Prasad’s influence grew, ACP Gajapati exploited him, using proof of his fraud to control him. Meanwhile, Prasad’s false divinity began to clash with Gajapati’s schemes. When Anjali’s marriage was fixed elsewhere, Venky tried to stop it but was beaten. Prasad reappeared in disguise, staging visions and miracles to protect Venky and Anjali. In a dramatic turn, “Krishna” is shown scolding Prasad for meddling in love, sending him back to Earth to set things right. In the climax, Gajapati attempts to expose Prasad, but without evidence, the devotees beat Gajapati instead. Having secured the funds for his daughter’s treatment, Prasad entrusts Venky with building a charity hospital for children before vanishing. In the end, he is shown living peacefully with his daughter abroad, while donating funds for a temple in his name—leaving behind a tale of deception, love, and survival.
