Golmaal Govindam Story
The film begins with an artful Govindam, whose livelihood is fleecing the public with his wit. He resides in a colony and loves his neighbor Jaya but postpones their nuptials because he lacks a stable life. During a curfew, Govindam playfully admits himself to the government hospital for boarding & lodging. Therein, he comes across a moribund sick heart, Kumari, who dies in his lap. Govindam holds her belongings, i.e., a diary & various entities’ photographs—Manmadha Rao in [[America]], Sudhakar from [[Calcutta]], & Major Gopala Krishnaiah [[Amritsar]]—and a wedding picture of Gopala Krishnaiah’s son Raja Shekar & Kumari. He lets dive into the diary by a matter of interest. Indeed, Kumari is an orphan who resides with a hot girl buddy, Sukanya, in a working women’s hostel. She gains a post in a firm where its General Manager, Manmadha Rao, is a beast of lust. He endures her incredibly for the affair, but Kumari escapes. Hence, Manmadha Rao warns her of slander if she does not fulfill his urge. In that peril, Sukanya guides Kumari through two schemes by swapping. Manmadha Rao feels he has enjoyed himself with Kumari and walks aboard. Later, Kumari diagnoses herself as a heart patient who needs a high amount for a cure; Sukanya & her mates try various means but in vain. Raja Shekar, a wealthy, sets foot to comfort her, stipulating she enact as his wife for absconding from the coercion alliance fixed by his father. Though Kumari is hesitant, she agrees with Sukanya’s duress. Raja Shekar notifies his fake match to Gopala Krishnaiah, which enrages him for his mulishness. Parallelly, Raja Shekar arranges a reception in a hotel where his bestie Sudhakar visits, when Gopala Krishnaiah makes Raja Shekar rush home with false news. Subsequently, Kumari also departs, but drunken Sukanya relaxes at the wedding suite when intoxicated Sudhakar consummates with her. The next day, she too takes off, but Sudhakar dies out of remorse, believing he has molested Kumari. Tragically, Raja Shekar dies in the flight crash, which turns down Kumari’s fate as the check bounces, and Sukanya joins her in GH.
Thus, Govindam cons by announcing himself as Kumari’s sibling, also creates a character named Gopal as Kumari’s progeny, and apprises the three that she has expired by giving birth to their heir. Here, he provides them with two choices: whether to take their kid or he will rear him if each pays {{INRConvert|1000}} per month. Govindam is confident that his strategy succeeds since he discerns they will not accept this child. Accordingly, they forward and bestow the amount. Govindam rises step-by-step, knits Jaya, and builds a jolly world by keeping the three in a trance for six years. Meanwhile, conscious of Manmadha Rao’s arrival, Govindam hires a sharper kid named Ganapati from an orphanage. At the airport, it informs the reach of Sudhakar, the top of Gopala Krishnaiah’s lands, with his wife, Parvati—the three halt at one place in adjoining rooms. Govindam puzzles up but takes them for a ride and juggles with Ganapati’s aid, which ends hilariously. It’s time for their departure and Govindam lounges by triumphing in his game. However, the three fortuitously acquaint and unearth the offense of Govindam. They furiously flurry on him, and he spills their guts. At last, on the verge of Govindam’s apprehension, Ganapati secures him, moving pawns, and casts out the three. Finally, the movie ends happily with Govindam & Jaya adopting Ganapati.
