Hitler Story
The film begins in a small town with Madhava Rao, nicknamed “Hitler,” a stern yet affectionate young man who lives with his five sisters—Sarada, Annapurna (Ammu), Lakshmi, Gayatri, and Saraswati. Fiercely protective, he showers them with love but violently punishes anyone who misbehaves with them, earning both respect and fear from the townsfolk. His maternal uncle Aadi Seshu’s children are Balachandra (Balu) and Bujji. The families arrange marriages: Balu with Ammu, Bujji with Madhava, but they await the eldest sister Sarada’s match. When Madhava fixes her alliance with a Collector’s son, a picnic gone wrong leads to Balu hiding at their house. Mistaking his presence as dishonor, Madhava beats Balu and breaks ties with Aadi Seshu. Angered, Balu vows to marry Ammu and reunite Madhava with Bujji, rallying the town youth against Madhava’s authoritarian ways. Madhava’s own bitterness towards his father—believing him responsible for his mother’s death due to remarriage—is revealed as Aadi Seshu’s manipulation. Seeking vengeance, Aadi Seshu allies with their old enemies, the Rudraraju brothers, who plot to ruin Madhava’s family. They trick Sarada into marrying her professor, Mohana Rao, after he molests her. Furious, Ammu elopes with Balu, intensifying Madhava’s despair.
Amid the chaos, Aadi Seshu obstructs Ammu and Balu, while the Rudraraju brothers plot against Bujji. In desperation, Madhava’s father protects the younger sisters from scandal but is falsely accused and later killed by the Rudrarajus. Before dying, he reconciles with Madhava, warning him not to take revenge. Though devastated, Madhava begins to reform, but his sisters, manipulated and resentful, distance themselves. A cold war brews between Madhava and Balu, until Balu eventually acknowledges Madhava’s sacrifices. Seizing the rift, the Rudrarajus impersonate Madhava and attempt to murder Balu. At the hospital, Madhava is blamed and rejected by his sisters. Determined, he uncovers the Rudrarajus’ guilt, defeats them, and even saves a betrayed Aadi Seshu, who, before dying, clears Madhava’s name to the family. After reconciling, Madhava tries to step aside, entrusting his sisters to Balu, but returns when he sees a man teasing them, reaffirming his role as their guardian. The movie ends on a powerful note, declaring: “Hitler never absconded from these knotty relations.”
