Iddaru Attala Muddula Alludu

The film begins with Balu, a charming young man who arrives in Hyderabad and crosses paths with wealthy businessman Gangadharam. Mistaking him for his nephew, Gangadharam introduces Balu into his complicated household. Gangadharam is caught between his two wives, Seeta and Sarala, who detest one another and live in adjoining bungalows, constantly competing. On Gangadharam’s advice, Balu enters their homes as a servant. Clever and quick-witted, he soon wins over both wives and their daughters, Vandana and Chandana. Both girls fall in love with him, though Balu reciprocates Vandana’s feelings. This sparks rivalry between Seeta and Sarala, placing Gangadharam in a difficult situation.

To resolve matters, Balu fakes Gangadharam’s suicide, which shocks the wives and temporarily unites them. When debtors auction off their properties, Balu moves the family into a small home and slowly fosters affection and harmony between the two women. Later, Vandana pretends to marry another man to sacrifice her love for Chandana, leaving Balu heartbroken. Meanwhile, Gangadharam discovers that Balu is actually his sister’s son, who has been serving them out of loyalty. When the man Vandana hires as her fake husband reveals himself as a fraud and kidnaps the family, Balu and Gangadharam join forces to rescue them. In the end, Balu’s sincerity is revealed, and the entire family accepts Vandana as his rightful bride. The film concludes on a humorous moral: “A man should possess only one wife.”
