Jeevana Ganga Story
The film begins with Ganga, an orphan dance teacher who comes to the city seeking livelihood. Soon after, she is attacked by ruffians but rescued and sheltered in a colony by Prabhu, a justice-seeking tough. Meanwhile, Rayudu, a corrupt tycoon, tries to corrupt his good-hearted son Raja with vices, disturbing his wife Parvati. Unable to stay in such an environment, Ganga leaves quietly. Babai, a pimp disguised as a respectable man, tries to lure her, but she rejects him. Prabhu steps in again, saves her, and sets up a dance school for her. Elsewhere, Prabhu’s cousin Chilaka is infatuated with him, but he does not reciprocate. Later, Parvati wants her granddaughter Manju to learn dance. Manju is actually the child of Rayudu’s assault on the widow Deepa, who now lives in a mental asylum. Rayudu and Raja initially oppose dance education, but Parvati brings Ganga in, and Manju is fascinated by her. Raja, too, falls in love at first sight. Enraged, Rayudu humiliates and expels Ganga, but Raja pleads and brings her back. Raja reforms himself to win Ganga’s love, though she initially resists. Meanwhile, a mysterious man, Kaali Charan, enters her life. Prabhu, once a hooligan, reforms under Ganga’s influence, and affection grows between them—though she treats him as a brother. Ganga eventually accepts Raja’s devotion, but Rayudu sternly opposes, while Parvati supports her. To avoid hurting Prabhu, Ganga introduces Raja as her fiancé, and Prabhu gracefully supports the match.
Raja goes abroad, and in his absence Prabhu is attacked and gravely injured. Desperate for funds for his treatment, Ganga struggles, and Babai tempts her with a lucrative but dishonorable deal. Under pressure, she reluctantly accepts, only to discover Rayudu is behind the trap to separate her from Raja. Soon after, Rayudu dies mysteriously, with Deepa seen fleeing the scene. Ganga seizes the money to save Prabhu, but suspicion falls on her. Raja returns, learns of the events, and grows doubtful of Ganga’s purity. At this point, Kaali Charan reveals himself as a police officer investigating Rayudu’s murder, and shockingly, as Rayudu’s illegitimate son. His pursuit of Ganga was to protect her from danger. Investigations lead to Deepa, who insists Rayudu was already dead before her entry. Manju, overhearing Babai’s extortion, exposes Rayudu’s brutality to Raja. A fierce confrontation follows, ending when Parvati confesses she killed Rayudu to protect Ganga. She urges Raja to marry Ganga, but emotionally shattered, Ganga refuses. The film closes poignantly with Raja declaring he will wait for her acceptance, no matter how long it takes.
