Jhansi Rani Story
The film begins with a notorious criminal, Mr. V, who adopts various aliases beginning with the letter “V,” deceiving women into marriage before absconding and faking his death. Parallelly, Jhansi Rani, a courageous woman devoted to fighting social evils, is saved from danger by a cheerful man, Sriraj, with whom she forms a friendship. Gradually, he develops feelings for her but refrains from confessing, knowing she loves advocate Dinakar. Jhansi shares a deep bond with her disabled elder sister, Sampoorna, whose marriage is arranged with Viswanath—ironically, another identity of Mr. V. True to his pattern, he abandons her immediately after the wedding. Jhansi, unable to attend the marriage due to circumstances, returns only to console her devastated sister. Soon, Neelakantham, a CBCID officer investigating Mr. V, reveals the criminal’s dark reality. Jhansi is enraged further when Sampoorna takes her own life, fueling her determination for vengeance. Meanwhile, an enigmatic man secretly shadows Jhansi. In her quest, she discovers that Sriraj himself is another victim—Mr. V duped his sister Srilatha—strengthening their resolve to fight together.
During her pursuit, Jhansi repeatedly faces danger at the hands of Mr. V, with Sriraj protecting her. At one point, she nearly captures Mr. V at a wedding, but he escapes. In a shocking twist, Sriraj unmasks himself as Mr. V, revealing he has been accompanying her under false pretenses to stay safe. He challenges her with a strange game of wits. The man who had been shadowing Jhansi turns out to be the real Sriraj, Srilatha’s elder brother, who is also seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Mr. V assumes yet another identity—Vital—and seeks to marry Radha, daughter of Advocate Jaganadham. Jhansi, aided by Selvarani, the wife of another victim, commissions a sketch of Mr. V, but the imposter Sriraj kills Selvarani and destroys the evidence, though one piece survives. Realizing the truth, Jhansi furiously confronts him and exposes his secret hideout, filled with records of his treachery. She also uncovers his latest ploy and rushes to stop it. Jhansi finally attacks Mr. V, but she is arrested by the police. In court, her claims collapse for lack of evidence, and Mr. V is acquitted. Enraged, Jhansi takes justice into her own hands, shooting him as he dies while mocking the system with his “victory.” The film closes with Jhansi facing trial for her act, while Dinakar vows to wait for her return.
