Joker Story
The film begins with Balaji, a flirtatious yet celebrated architect at PADGRO Company’s Hyderabad branch. Known for his carefree lifestyle and numerous affairs, he suddenly faces a career shift when the company transfers him to Tirupati for a prestigious project, swapping him with his junior, Usha Rani. Though reluctant, Balaji agrees, partly to escape the clingy Vijayalakshmi, one of his past flames. Usha Rani, however, is a strong-willed misandrist who lives with her mischievous foster child, Apple, the daughter of her elder sister. She challenges her manager GS Murthy’s decision, confident in her ability to handle the project herself. Meanwhile, Apple is secretly under threat from her cruel biological father, who covets her inheritance. Balaji, upon glimpsing Usha Rani, falls genuinely in love and abandons his playboy ways. Determined to win her heart, he disguises himself as a cook named “Joker” and enters her household. Apple quickly befriends him, and Balaji grows affectionate toward her. As Joker, he also notices Usha Rani’s closeness with a wealthy contractor, KC Reddy, who has proposed to her. Sensing danger, Joker investigates and uncovers Reddy’s sinister intentions. Amid comedic chases with Vijayalakshmi and his aide Subba Raju, Balaji slowly gains Usha Rani’s trust by protecting Apple and helping her succeed in the Tirupati project.
When the project concludes, Murthy compels Usha Rani to hand over her responsibilities to Balaji. Though she triumphed, Balaji intervenes, resigning in her name to preserve her credit. Shocked and misunderstanding his actions, Usha Rani feels betrayed, but Murthy soon realizes Balaji’s sacrifice and reveals the truth. Usha Rani, too, resigns in guilt but learns of Balaji’s integrity and devotion. Rushing to stop him, she believes she is too late—until Balaji reappears in his Joker disguise at her home, gently offering her a cup of tea. The story concludes on a joyful note with the marriage of Balaji and Usha Rani, marking the transformation of a frivolous charmer into a devoted husband and father figure.
