Manmadha Leela Kamaraju Gola Story
The film begins with Kamaraju, a womanizer and ardent devotee of Kamadeva (Manmadha, the god of love), with whom he communicates daily about his numerous flings. In the same town lives Pandala Paramasivam with his daughter Kalpana, who enjoys making silly bets with the help of her aide Sandeham. One day, Kalpana and Sandeham humiliate Kamaraju, prompting him to retaliate with a vow to make Kalpana fall in love and marry him. Kamaraju begins his pursuit, initially with playful tricks, but soon develops genuine feelings for her and gives up his womanizing ways. During a flirtatious encounter, Kamaraju suffers an accident, and taking advantage of the situation, pretends to be blind to win Kalpana’s affection. However, when she discovers the deception, she despises him. In desperation, Kamaraju goes on a hunger strike outside her home. At this point, Manmadha intervenes with his divine powers, softening Kalpana’s heart, leading her to fall in love with Kamaraju, and the two are married.
After their wedding, a rivalry sparks between Manmadha and Kamaraju, as both wish to claim credit for Kalpana’s love. Manmadha meddles in Kamaraju’s marital life, twice stripping him of his voice and later even appearing in disguise as his grandmother, creating chaos with eccentric vows. When the real grandmother arrives, Kamaraju confesses the truth, but she advises him to seek forgiveness from the Lord. Meanwhile, Kalpana discovers her husband’s past as a playboy and his original bet with her father, leading her to leave him and file for divorce. In court, Kamaraju admits everything, and the judge declares him insane, granting the divorce. In a twist, it is revealed that all of this was merely Kamaraju’s dream. Manmadha appears and teaches him the sanctity of true love, urging him to abandon his deceptive ways. Remorseful, Kamaraju repents, and harmony is restored. The film ends happily with the reunion of Kamaraju and Kalpana, blessed by Manmadha himself.
