Parugo Parugu Story
The film begins with Rambabu, a flawed photographer who runs a small studio with his assistant, Kittigadu. Their customers constantly berate them for distorted photos, and Rambabu struggles to earn respect. One day, he rescues a young woman named Saroja during a quarrel, and their friendship blossoms into love. Under her guidance, Rambabu improves his skills and transforms into a talented photographer. Meanwhile, Ranganatha Rao, a powerful racketeer, faces warnings from his wife Neelima about possible police action if he does not end his criminal activities. Fate brings Saroja and Neelima together as friends, and Neelima, intrigued by photography, visits Rambabu to learn about an automatic camera. During the session, she faints, and the camera accidentally captures an image of Rambabu holding her. Ranganatha Rao, who often relies on his cunning aide Jackal for ideas but treats him with disdain, secretly plots to kill Neelima with the help of his henchmen, Veeru and Jaggu. Jackal photographs the murder as revenge against his boss. Later, while preparing for an all-India photography competition, Rambabu is shocked to discover Neelima’s corpse in one of his developed photos. He alerts the police, but the incompetent Inspector Appalakonda arrests him. Saroja helps prove his innocence, and they exhume Neelima’s body, continuing the investigation.
As events spiral, Rambabu boldly claims he will expose the real killer, which terrifies Ranganatha Rao. When the incriminating photo resurfaces, Rambabu is once again framed. Escaping with Kittigadu, he confronts Ranganatha Rao and learns the truth. They witness Jackal attempting to blackmail Ranganatha Rao with the murder photograph, only to be brutally killed by Veeru and Jaggu. Before dying, Jackal swallows the film negative, making it the only evidence that can clear Rambabu’s name. This leads to a chaotic and comical chase as Rambabu and his allies struggle to retrieve the body while evading both Ranganatha Rao and Inspector Appalakonda. The pursuit culminates in a theater staging a spoof of the Mahabharata, where Rambabu finally extracts the negative from Jackal’s stomach and proves his innocence. The film ends on a joyful note with Rambabu marrying Saroja,
