Senapati Story
The film begins with Krishna, an orphan boy working as a servant, who is falsely accused by his employer of murdering his wife. Bribing a corrupt cop, the owner has Krishna punished and sent to [[Juvenile delinquency|juvenile]] detention. There, Krishna befriends the warden, who inspires him to become a sincere police officer, determined to clean up the system and prevent others from suffering as he did. Years later, Krishna fulfills that dream, becoming an [[Inspector]] and advancing steadily under his mentor’s guidance. Fate, however, places him under the command of the vicious [[Inspector|Circle Inspector]] Purushotham, who is entrenched in corruption. Krishna prepares for the [[Indian Police Service|IPS]] to gain the power needed to fight crime. Meanwhile, a typist named Sarma files a complaint, but Purushotham dismisses it for a bribe. Sarma turns to the media through journalist Satya, enraging Purushotham, who assaults him and destroys his typewriter. Krishna quietly buys him a replacement, earning Satya’s admiration, and the two fall in love. But Purushotham resents Krishna and entrusts him with catching a gangster, giving him a revolver with 8 bullets. Krishna loses the gun during the chase, and Purushotham gives him one day to recover it. Soon, Krishna uncovers a massive arms-smuggling racket connected to don Babloo Yadav. He manages to capture the pickpocket Siva, who stole his gun, with Satya’s help. But the gun changes hands, ultimately falling to Krishna Murthy, a constable embittered by years of service without recognition or support. In desperation, Krishna Murthy joins a bank robbery along with taxi driver Raju and Husain, Babloo’s henchman. Their crime inadvertently kills a young girl, Shreya, and the bullet is traced to Krishna’s lost revolver. The scandal forces Krishna into suspension, while Satya’s reputation also suffers. A jester-like officer, Paramjyothi, later discerns Krishna’s honesty and joins him unofficially to pursue the case.
The story deepens as Krishna learns of Krishna Murthy’s tragic past: once an upright constable, he was betrayed by Purushotham, denied his provident fund, and left to watch his wife die. Neglected by his children Prakash and Gayatri, Krishna Murthy now seeks vengeance and wealth, even as his health declines from cancer. Husain, secretly in love with Babloo’s wife Maha, plots to elope with her, while Raju is lured into crime with dreams of migrating to [[Dubai]]. The gang’s activities spiral, leading to betrayals, encounters, and deaths—Babloo himself is killed after Paramjyothi exposes Husain’s affair with Maha. Siva, moved by Krishna’s sincerity, reforms and chooses education over crime. Meanwhile, Krishna Murthy continues his vendetta, killing the Provident Fund officer and later Purushotham during another robbery. In the end, Krishna confronts Krishna Murthy during a crossfire where Paramjyothi’s grandson Rakesh is endangered. Though cleared of guilt in the official inquiry, Krishna knows the truth. Wounded and regretful, Krishna Murthy reveals that his crimes were partly driven by his terminal illness and his bitterness over systemic injustices. He admits guilt for Shreya’s death, but also pride in eliminating corrupt men like Purushotham. Ultimately, he grabs Krishna’s gun and takes his own life. The epilogue shows Maha running a roadside canteen after losing both her husband and lover, Siva returning to school, and Paramjyothi admiring Krishna’s integrity. In a final poignant moment, Krishna rides with Satya, spotting the employer who framed him years ago standing by the roadside—suggesting the cycle of justice is not yet complete.
