Station Master Story

The film begins with Rama Rao and Chaitanya, two unemployed best friends who constantly bluff their way through job interviews. Rama Rao desires a carefree, happy life, while Chaitanya is determined to climb to the highest level of success. With nowhere else to stay, they take shelter in the railway station’s waiting room, where they befriend the kind Station Master and his wife Lakshmi, who are childless but live happily. The boys soon win their trust and affection. Along the way, they meet Pushpa and Rani, and romance sparks in opposite directions: Chaitanya falls for Pushpa, hoping for an easy life with her, though she suffers social ostracism for not knowing her father’s identity; Rama Rao falls deeply in love with Rani, the daughter of the Master’s friend Kurmavataram. When Rama Rao and Chaitanya bravely save the railway from danger, the Master adopts them both as his sons. Chaitanya’s marriage with Pushpa is arranged, while Rani’s wedding is fixed elsewhere. Rama Rao is heartbroken, but the marriage collapses midway due to dowry demands, after which the Master unites Rani with Rama Rao. However, Rani insists he must attain a high position and wealth before fully accepting him, delaying their married life.

Meanwhile, the greedy Chaitanya turns down job offers in pursuit of business ventures and falls into the clutches of Tilak Hitler, a ruthless press owner and gang leader, who ruins him and leaves Pushpa deaf. Rama Rao, struggling under Rani’s expectations, disguises himself as a senior officer while working as a cook, but when his lie is exposed, Rani scorns him. Tensions escalate further when Tilak Hitler betrays Chaitanya, burying him in debts. Desperate, Chaitanya demands money from Pushpa, but when her mother refuses, he lashes out, leading to her tragic death. Simultaneously, Rani, pregnant, attempts an abortion, causing Rama Rao to despair and leave. Chaitanya, drowning in guilt and debt, also flees. The two friends end up once again in the railway waiting room, where the Master consoles them and inspires courage. With renewed spirit, Chaitanya earns a job, reconciles with Pushpa, and together with Rama Rao and the Master, brings down Tilak Hitler. Later, Rani, remorseful and convinced she is barren, tries to end her life, but Rama Rao saves her. In a heartfelt revelation, the Master discloses it was all part of his plan and that the baby is safe. The film ends joyfully with the reunion of the entire family.
