Teneteega Story
The film opens with Varun Kumar, a flamboyant business magnate, perched atop a towering apartment terrace, shedding his clothes in a moment of absurdity. On the surface, Varun’s life is idyllic—he has just celebrated seven years of marriage with his devoted wife Aparna, and they share a beloved son, Suhan. But temptation lurks. His mischievous father-in-law, Tryambakam, an aged playboy who runs an adult-jokes club, constantly nudges him toward vice. Adding fuel to the fire, his roguish best friend Gokul gifts him a stag film, rekindling Varun’s lustful impulses.
Soon, Aparna’s friends Keertana and Amurtha debate whether men are inherently unfaithful. Aparna defends her husband’s integrity, but the others remain skeptical, leading them to hire a detective to trail Varun. Meanwhile, Varun unsuccessfully pursues women until he becomes infatuated with Tanvi, a glamorous model who finally entertains his advances. Parallel to this, Tryambakam himself develops a surprising affection for the much-younger Amurtha, stirring comedy and doubt.
Varun’s secret escapades with Tanvi lead to a string of misadventures—from bungled trysts and mistaken identities to a near-scandal when Aparna unexpectedly turns up during one of his schemes. Later, an ill-fated strip-poker game at Tanvi’s flat ends in utter humiliation when her fiancé barges in and Varun is ignominiously rescued by firemen.
At last comes the final twist: Aparna reveals that her “rival” Tanvi had been acting under her plan all along, devised to confront Varun with his own folly. Shocked into self-reflection, Varun repents and reconciles with his wife, while Tryambakam, too, faces the irony of his ways. The film closes with a comic coda as little Suhan mischievously begins his own “play,” suggesting the cycle of folly may live on.
