Vivaaha Bhojanambu Story
The film begins with Seetarama Rao, a staunch misogynist who runs organizations called Stri Dwesha Samajam and Bharya Bhaditula Sangam, both dedicated to inflaming men against women. One day, a client, Head Constable Nippu Appala Swamy, asks about the reason behind his hatred. Seetarama Rao recounts his past: he and his younger brother Krishna were raised by their brother-in-law Vasu and sister Subhadra. Naïve and often ridiculed since childhood, Seetarama Rao once found himself in danger and was saved by a beautiful girl, Lavanya. Enchanted, he made repeated attempts to win her love. However, her cousin Subba Rao, who coveted her, threatened him. In a humiliating turn, Lavanya slapped Seetarama Rao in public, and he, burning with shame, contemplated suicide. At that moment, he received a letter from Lavanya confessing her love and revealing that Subba Rao was forcing her into marriage. Rushing to her, Seetarama Rao was instead rebuked and rejected by her, leaving him shattered and pushing him onto his misogynistic path.
In the present, Vasu and Subhadra encounter Lavanya, who finally reveals the truth: she had only pretended to scorn Seetarama Rao to protect him from Subba Rao’s wrath. Determined to win him back, Lavanya moves into his neighborhood and starts an organization directly opposing his. Meanwhile, Seetarama Rao’s younger brother Krishna falls for Lavanya’s sister Vasundhara, and his follower Kailasam falls in love with Vasu’s mute sister Jyothi. In fear and desperation, Krishna elopes with Vasundhara and attempts suicide but is rescued by Appala Swamy. At the same time, Subba Rao discloses the entire truth to Seetarama Rao. Realizing his mistake, Seetarama Rao, overcome with guilt, attempts to end his life but is saved. The story concludes happily with the marriages of Seetarama Rao with Lavanya, Krishna with Vasundhara, and Kailasam with Jyothi.
