Mitrudu Story

The film begins with industrialist Sai Krishna, who dreams of finding a perfect son-in-law for his only daughter, Indu, studying abroad. When a notorious Muni Swamy approaches with a proposal for his wayward son, Sai Krishna refuses and instead arranges a match through his trusted lawyer, Vishwanath. Enraged, Muni Swamy orchestrates an accident on Sai Krishna, but he survives. A year later, Indu secretly visits Kumbakonam, where an astrologer warns that her horoscope foretells her husband’s death within a month of marriage — unless she weds an extraordinary man of valor. Returning to Malaysia, she encounters Aditya, a disheartened youth living in despair after losing his entire family in a tragic blast. Recognizing him as her destined partner, Indu pursues him with persistence, even though Aditya hesitates. Eventually, he gives in, and they marry — only for Indu to reveal she deceived him to avert her horoscope’s curse. Her secret affection, however, is for Madhu, a supposedly noble but scheming impostor who exploits her wealth. When she flees with Madhu to India, Aditya follows, revealing he knows everything yet still stands by her out of genuine love.

Back in India, Sai Krishna disowns his daughter, but Aditya earns his acceptance with patience and loyalty. Meanwhile, Madhu plots with Muni Swamy to destroy Aditya, but their conspiracy is complicated by the shocking revelation that Madhu’s father is none other than Keshava, Sai Krishna’s closest friend and secret mastermind of the treachery. In a fierce confrontation, Madhu stabs his own father, framing Aditya, who is left critically wounded. At this low point, Vishwanath exposes the truth — Aditya is the very match Sai Krishna once sought, the grandson of revered elder Raghavendra Bapineedu, whose tragic family past explains his despair. As Indu’s steadfast love rekindles his will to survive, Aditya returns to face his enemies. In the climax, he crushes Madhu and Muni Swamy, proving himself both brave and virtuous. At last, Aditya and Indu unite, fulfilling destiny with a bond sealed by sacrifice, survival, and true love.
