Narasimha Naidu Story

The film begins with a feud between two neighboring villages in Visakhapatnam district, where peace-loving Raghupati Naidu and malicious Appala Naidu are rivals. Appala Naidu tramples their village and even squats the fields of their sacred Lakshmi Narasimha temple. To protect the people, Raghupati Naidu forms an army and demands a child sacrifice from each family, offering his own younger son, Narasimha Naidu. Years later, Anjali, the pampered daughter of factionist Kuppuswamy Naidu, grows up at her maternal uncle’s house. Inspired by Narasimha Naidu’s dance and kindness, she joins his school, becomes close to his child, and eventually falls in love with him despite knowing he is a widower. Meanwhile, Kuppuswamy arranges Anjali’s marriage to his nephew (Appala Naidu’s son), but his sister Nagamani demands Narasimha Naidu’s death as dowry, since he killed her husband. When Anjali declares her love for Narasimha, the groom’s men attack, only to flee once Narasimha reveals his true identity. Narasimha then recounts his past: after 15 years of building his army, he slew Appala Naidu, prompting Kuppuswamy to swear revenge.

Raghupati Naidu later arranges Narasimha’s marriage to Sravani, a kind woman averse to violence. Though she initially resists, she accepts his goodness. Narasimha’s siblings return from abroad, arrogant and dismissive, but he endears them while Sravani quarrels and eventually leaves for her parents’ house, giving birth to a boy. When Kuppuswamy’s men ambush Narasimha’s brothers on their way out, he risks his life to save them, winning their respect. Tragically, Kuppuswamy targets Narasimha’s child and fatally stabs Sravani, who begs her husband to leave behind the bloody factional climate. In the present, Raghupati Naidu and his son face off against Kuppuswamy, while Anjali stands by Narasimha, bonding with his son. As her wedding is fixed elsewhere, Narasimha boldly challenges Kuppuswamy and wins. In the end, Anjali, who has sacrificed her ability to bear children, wholeheartedly unites with Narasimha Naidu, becoming mother to his child.
