Raana Story
The film begins with Bhima Raju, a mafia don who values his men but lives ruthlessly by bloodshed. When he murders the loyal Rajanna, Rajanna’s son Raana rises in fury, kills Bhima Raju, and claims his empire. With Hari, a disillusioned lieutenant, now by his side, Raana ascends as the new kingpin, suppressing Bhima Raju’s sons Ramaraju and Kamaraju.
During a land feud, Raana intervenes for Subramanyam, defeating the goon Kotigadu, and marries Subramanyam’s daughter Ganga at his mother Parvatamma’s behest. Meanwhile, the principled doctor Kasthuri, daughter of schoolteacher Shankaram, despises Raana’s outlaw ways and secretly loves his aide Kiran. Conflict escalates when Raana kills Kamaraju and a municipal commissioner, after which Kasthuri bravely files a forensic report against him. In rage, Raana abducts her—only for the shocking truth to emerge: Kasthuri is his long-lost sister.
Raana’s real identity unravels: he is Ramu, once imprisoned as a youth for a petty crime committed to make Kasthuri happy. Declared dead by Shankaram, Ramu was rescued by Rajanna, and the grief-stricken Parvatamma mistook him for her deceased son Raana. Bound by his promise to Rajanna, Ramu hides his true self to protect his mother’s fragile sanity, even enduring Kasthuri’s contempt.
As Ramaraju seeks revenge, he enlists the corrupt SP Tagore Vikram Singh, who exploits Raana’s secret by targeting Kasthuri and manipulating Kiran. When Kiran’s honor is maligned, Kasthuri turns against Raana, until the truth surfaces. In a tragic twist, provoked by Ramaraju, Kasthuri herself shoots Raana—only to learn moments later of his sacrifice and embrace him as her brother.
In the explosive finale, Ramaraju storms in, but Raana shields his men, annihilates the villains, and restores peace. The story closes with the family reunited, Parvatamma’s dignity preserved, and Raana surrendering to the judiciary—choosing justice over the underworld.
