Ramu Story

Ramu, a cheerful boy, lives happily with his parents, soldier Raja and Seeta. When Raja is called to the battlefield, dacoits attack their village, setting their house ablaze and killing Seeta. Traumatized, little Ramu loses his voice. Their neighbor Chinnayya shelters the child until Raja returns, heartbroken at his wife’s death. Determined to restore Ramu’s speech, Raja leaves the village with his son in search of a new beginning.

In another village, Raja and Ramu encounter Lakshmi, a kind-hearted heiress whose greedy uncle Ganganna plots to seize her property through his wicked son Ranganna. Lakshmi shelters the father and son, winning their affection. Raja helps her in times of trouble, while Ramu bonds with her deeply. When Ranganna kidnaps Ramu and threatens Lakshmi, Raja rescues them in a fiery battle. The shock of the incident restores Ramu’s voice, and justice is served when Ganganna is killed. The story concludes with Raja and Lakshmi’s marriage, reuniting the broken family in hope and love.
