Ramudu Bhimudu Story
The film begins in Hindupur, where Bhimudu, a night watchman admired by everyone, lives with his grandmother Yashodamma and sister Kavita. Righteous and courageous, he supports his best friend Sagar, an MLA, in resisting the atrocities of Tata Rao, the opposition leader, and his son Papa Rao. Meanwhile, Ramudu—a carefree youth identical in appearance to Bhimudu—is the heir of tycoon Rajashekaram. His sly uncle, Suyodhana Rao, schemes to usurp his wealth by marrying Ramudu to his daughter, Surpanaka. Unbeknownst to Ramudu and Bhimudu, Suyodhana Rao partners with Tata Rao in an arms trafficking racket. Ramudu, however, falls for Swati, Rajashekaram’s secretary, who reforms his carefree ways. Envious, Suyodhana Rao tries to sabotage their love. At the same time, Bhimudu repeatedly clashes with the bold Manga, and their banter blossoms into love. When the government announces land distribution, Bhimudu helps Sagar allocate it to the rightful poor, enraging Tata Rao. Conspiracies deepen when Bhimudu discovers his sister Kavita’s secret marriage to Sagar’s brother Raju and disowns her. Meanwhile, misunderstandings tear Ramudu and Swati apart, forcing Ramudu to flee to Hindupur, where fate brings him face-to-face with Bhimudu.
Yashodamma then reveals the shocking truth: Ramudu and Bhimudu are twins, separated at birth. Years earlier, Savitri (Swati’s aunt) had witnessed Suyodhana Rao’s crimes. Pregnant at the time, she was sheltered by Satyam, Rajashekaram’s loyal driver, but Suyodhana Rao spread false rumors and separated them. Savitri gave birth to Bhimudu, who was raised by Yashodamma, while Ramudu grew up with Rajashekaram. Now reunited, the brothers join forces to expose Suyodhana Rao and Tata Rao. Along the way, Sagar betrays Bhimudu but later reforms, only to be assassinated by the villains, who frame Bhimudu. During the trial, Ramudu steps in to save his brother, confusing everyone with their identical looks. In the climax, the villains abduct the family, but Bhimudu unmasks Suyodhana Rao’s crimes and clears his mother’s name. Tragically, Parvati dies, entrusting Ramudu to Savitri. At last, the brothers avenge the villains, restore justice, and find love. The film ends happily with Ramudu marrying Swati and Bhimudu marrying Manga.
