Shavukar Story
The film begins in a village where the most reputable Shavukar Changayya resides. He is pretty attached to his neighbor Ramayya’s family, especially his daughter Subbulu, who handles his household tasks. Satyam, the son of Shavukar, backs obtaining his degree. Satyam & Subbulu have been beloved since childhood, and the elders have decided to knit them. Once, at local merchant Bangariah’s plea, Shavukar rents his ancestor’s alms-house to him, which creates disarray therein. Hence, the village youth blocks him off when Shavukar files a case. Ramayya stands for righteousness and testified against Shavukar. Here, the rift arises. Rangadu, sly acolyte & goon of Shavukar, overstates it. Now, he calls off the wedlock when distressed Satyam quits to the town.
Following this, Shavukar ruses by confiscating Ramayya’s property to pay off his debt. Moreover, he incriminates his son Narayana in a crime via Rangadu and sentences him. Satyam is also jailed for the theft committed by his friend Samboo. In prison, the two acquaint where Satyam gets knowledge of his father’s enormities. Ergo refuses his aid, which throws Shavukar into despair. Eventually, Rangadu backstabs and attempts to loot Shavukar when Subbulu shields him. At last, Shavukar pleads pardon from Ramayya when Satyam & Narayana are acquitted. Finally, the movie ends happily with the marriage of Satyam & Subbulu.
