Simha Story
The film begins in Hyderabad, where Srimanarayana, a fearless university professor, is respected for his honesty and intolerance toward injustice. While rescuing a student from an acid attack, he accidentally strikes comatose faction leader Veerakesavudu, awakening him after 28 years. Srimanarayana lives with his grandmother, who worries that his blunt nature ruins his chances of marriage. Meanwhile, lecturer Mahima secretly loves him, but he instead grows close to Janaki, a new student who falls for him after he protects her from goons. Janaki is revealed to be the daughter of business tycoon Jagadish Prasad, locked in a bitter feud with gangster Gopi, Veerakesavudu’s son. When Veerakesavudu recovers, he compels Jagadish to marry Janaki to Gopi. At the wedding, chaos erupts, Janaki’s brother Anand is killed, and Jagadish sends Janaki away in secret. Srimanarayana vows to protect her, but Gopi soon discovers her hiding place, leading to multiple confrontations. In the melee, Jagadish, blinded by rage, mistakenly stabs Srimanarayana’s grandmother, igniting his fury.
Stricken by grief, Srimanarayana demands answers, and his grandmother reveals the truth from 30 years earlier in Bobbili. His father, Dr. Narasimha, a descendant of the royal dynasty, had returned from abroad to serve the poor through a free hospital and to resist Veerakesavudu’s tyranny. Fearless and principled, Narasimha fought against the oppressors, even slaying many of Veerakesavudu’s kin. Though supported by his devoted wife Gayatri, he was betrayed by her brother Jagadish, who colluded with the enemy. In a bloody clash during a festival, Narasimha killed Veerakesavudu’s men, struck Veerakesavudu into a coma, but ultimately lost his and Gayatri’s lives. Armed with this truth, Srimanarayana journeys to Bobbili to fulfill his father’s unfinished mission. Despite his grandmother’s pleas to abandon violence, he seizes Veerakesavudu, confronts him at the very site of his parents’ deaths, and vanquishes his enemies. The film ends on a triumphant note, with Srimanarayana reconciling with Janaki’s family and carrying forward his father’s righteous legacy.
