Srimannarayana Story

The film begins with three spiteful Harshad Kotari, a famous Hawala broker in Malaysia, Agricultural Minister Bail Reddy, and his brother-in-law Pulikeshava Reddy, who conducts land encroachment. They squat the plots allotted to disabled soldiers in the ”Jai Jawan Scam,” leaving the Govt, Police, and judiciary in defeat. The only one who dares to challenge them is a brave and bellicose journalist, Srimannarayana, who exposes the scam and restores land to the rightful owners. Parallelly, Swapnika, a reporter, tries to overpower him but fails, eventually falling for him, though Srimannarayana is already in love and engaged to his cousin Bhanumati. Despite this, Swapnika doesn’t give up, and the two continue competing. Meanwhile, Srimannarayana’s father, Kalki Narayana Murthy, a social activist, is honored with the Padma Shri. On that occasion, three more pernicious figures appear—IG Marthand, Premier Bank Chairman Rajan Mudaliar, and Dr. Srikar Prasad. Narayana Murthy announces the establishment of “Jai Kisan Trust,” a welfare fund for farmers worth 50000000000, which he deposits at Premier Bank. Shockingly, Narayana Murthy dies under mysterious circumstances, and ₹63 million is swindled. Srimannarayana is then incriminated in the scam and taken into custody, with the case handed to the CBI under officer Gyaneshwar.

From prison, Srimannarayana begins his own investigation with Swapnika’s help. He discovers a bell ringing connection with Rajan Mudaliar, breaks free, and coerces Jailor Shankar Reddy. Rajan Mudaliar finally divulges the truth: Narayana Murthy was cold-bloodedly murdered by the six conspirators, who staged it as a heart attack. The stolen amount was shifted to the Swiss bank, protected by a six-letter password, each conspirator holding a letter. Infuriated, Srimannarayana starts his murder spree, eliminating five blackguards without evidence and retrieving their letters: 4, K, I, A, N. Gyaneshwar repeatedly tries to trap him but fails, while Srimannarayana simultaneously proves his innocence and is acquitted. Later, Harshad abducts Srimannarayana’s family, demanding the full password. On the spot, Srimannarayana cleverly identifies the missing secret letter between I & A as S, revealing the code: 4KISAN. In a fierce battle, he kills Harshad, after which Gyaneshwar closes the case without a testament. Finally, the film ends on a happy note with Srimannarayana successfully re-establishing the Jai Kisan Trust.
