Jabilamma Pelli Story
The film begins in a village where Padmavathi Devi, a wealthy and respected woman, lives with the grief of losing her daughter Lakshmi years earlier after an accident involving her nephew Ramudu. Since then, she has raised Ramudu along with her sister’s daughter Jyothi, an IVF specialist, intending to marry them in the future. Ramudu, a bold young man, often clashes with the wicked Podugu Babu, who terrorizes the village. Padmavathi and Ramudu plan to build a temple in Lakshmi’s name, but trouble brews when Anjaneyulu, Jyothi’s corrupt father and ally of Podugu Babu, involves Manjari, a prostitute, and her daughter Madhura Vani. While Podugu Babu lusts after Vani, she is instead drawn to Ramudu and tries to seduce him. When he resists, she creates chaos, leading Padmavathi to punish her mother. Seeking revenge, Vani sabotages the temple ceremony, and the villagers decide she must be punished. To everyone’s shock, Ramudu marries Vani, and she begins tormenting the household with her unruly behavior. Though she troubles everyone, Ramudu patiently tolerates her actions and even pays the penalties for her mistakes.
One day, Vani learns the truth: she is none other than Padmavathi’s long-lost daughter Lakshmi. Determined to reform, she vows to give her mother a grandchild and asks Ramudu to remain silent. Jyothi overhears this truth and realizes Ramudu’s noble intentions. Later, Vani becomes pregnant, but due to the schemes of Podugu Babu and Anjaneyulu, she miscarries and falls terminally ill. To fulfill Vani’s wish, Jyothi carries her pregnancy through IVF. Eventually, Padmavathi also learns the truth and embraces her daughter. In the end, Vani dies after handing over her newborn to Padmavathi, leaving her mother’s heart full. The film concludes on a hopeful note with the wedding of Ramudu and Jyothi, alongside the inauguration of the long-awaited temple.
