Vaddante Dabbu Story

Ram and Shyam are best friends whose livelihood depends on borrowing and absconding from lenders. Saroja, the daughter of multimillionaire Rao Saheb Hemachalapathi, admires Shyam for his artistry, and they fall in love. Aware of this, Rao Saheb assigns Shyam a task—he gives him ₹1 lakh and instructs him to spend it within 30 days, warning him not to donate or destroy it.

Shyam, with Ram’s help, tries various means such as racing, gambling, drama, constructing a house, and more. However, at every attempt, his income only multiplies, leaving him frustrated. Ultimately, he returns Rao Saheb’s wealth. Rao Saheb then reveals that the true purpose of the task was to test Shyam’s character and to make him realize the futility of dishonest money. In the end, the story concludes happily with the marriage of Shyam and Saroja.
