Vamsoddharakudu Story

The film begins with a gallant Suryam firing up in the office of a great industrialist, Rajagaru. An intense conflict arises when Suryam shoots Rajagaru, who is left critical in the hospital. Following this, Anand and Ashok, the vagabond sons of Rajagaru, bribe a corrupt cop to eliminate Suryam in a fake encounter. Nevertheless, Suryam overpowers them, escapes into the forest, and spins rearward. Years ago, Sudarshan Rao, Rajagaru’s malicious brother-in-law, dominated his property and manipulated his sons. At this time, Suryam acquired a job as a Physical Director (PD) at a college, living with his widowed mother Varalakshmi. He constantly clashed with Sudarshan Rao’s arrogant daughter, Surekha, until they fell in love. Meanwhile, Satya, the charming daughter of Sambasiva Rao, joins as Suryam’s junior and entices him. During a college tour, Satya implicates Suryam in a rape case. Later, she reveals it was Sudarshan Rao’s ploy to separate the couple, and she did it to protect her terminally ill father. Soon, Sudarshan Rao visits Suryam’s house and is startled to see Varalakshmi. He then demands an explanation from Suryam about why his father lives while his mother remains a widow. Stunned, Suryam learns from his mother that Rajagaru is his father. At that moment, Sambasiva Rao confesses on his deathbed that he had once colluded with Sudarshan Rao to blemish Varalakshmi’s honor during her pregnancy. Misled, Rajagaru stripped Varalakshmi of her mangalsutra, bangles, and bottu, forcing her to live as a widow. With Sambasiva Rao’s confession, Suryam takes responsibility for Satya, fulfilling her father’s last wish.

Determined to prove his worth, Suryam protects Rajagaru from Anand’s scams and earns his trust, while also helping Satya secure a position in his company. Though Satya genuinely loves him, Surekha remains Suryam’s true love, and Satya gracefully steps back. Meanwhile, Rajagaru grows increasingly disillusioned with his corrupt sons. When Ashok attempts to molest Satya, Suryam shields her, prompting Rajagaru to finally embrace Suryam as the virtuous son he always wished for. Furious at Suryam’s rise, Sudarshan Rao schemes to marry off Surekha to Anand and threatens Varalakshmi. However, Satya exposes the truth, clearing Varalakshmi’s honor. Rajagaru, filled with remorse, seeks reconciliation with Varalakshmi but hesitates due to his sons’ presence. Overcome, Suryam storms Rajagaru’s office, only to find his father attempting suicide. Though he tries to save him, it’s too late. With Rajagaru’s apparent death, Sudarshan Rao declares shoot-at-sight orders for Suryam. Yet Rajagaru recovers and joins Suryam, Surekha, and Satya in the forest. After a fierce battle, Suryam defeats the villains and reforms his brothers. Tragically, Satya dies while shielding Suryam. In the end, Rajagaru restores Varalakshmi’s honor by giving her the mangalsutra, bottu, and bangles back. Finally, the film concludes on a happy note with the marriage of Suryam and Surekha.
