Veera Simha Reddy Story

The film begins in Istanbul, where Meenakshi, an Indian woman, runs a successful restaurant, Rayalaseema Cuisine. A wealthy tycoon, Richard, attempts to seize it through threats and violence but is stopped by Jai Simha Reddy (Jai Valor), Meenakshi’s son, who also runs a car dealership. Jai soon falls in love with Isha, the daughter of tycoon Jayaram. During the marriage proposal, Meenakshi discloses Jai’s father’s identity—Veera Simha Reddy, a legendary warrior from Rayalaseema.

The story shifts to Pulicherla, Andhra Pradesh, where Veera Simha Reddy is a revered arbiter striving to eradicate factional violence. He frequently clashes with rival faction leader Pratap Reddy, who conspires with his uncle, Minister Peddi Reddy, to seize an industrialist’s factory originally established by Veera Simha Reddy. Defying them, Veera Simha Reddy protects the land, winning admiration from the people. Later, while visiting Meenakshi and Jai in Turkey, Veera Simha Reddy confronts Pratap Reddy. In a shocking twist, Pratap’s wife Bhanumati—Veera Simha Reddy’s estranged sister—betrays him. Both she and Pratap fatally stab him. Before dying, Veera Simha Reddy instructs Jai to take his body back to Rayalaseema for the final rites.

In Rayalaseema, Jai learns of Bhanumati’s animosity from Siddappa, Veera Simha Reddy’s confidant. Bhanumati, the illegitimate child of Veera Simha Reddy’s father, was deeply cherished by her brother. Though betrothed to his cousin Meenakshi, Veera Simha Reddy prioritized Bhanumati’s happiness, even supporting her love for Shekar, Siddappa’s son. But a tragic turn of events—when Shekar accidentally killed a villager during a drunken brawl—led Veera Simha Reddy to exile him to uphold justice. Humiliated, Shekar committed suicide, causing Bhanumati to brand her brother a hypocrite and vow revenge. She later married Pratap Reddy, swearing that he would not touch her until Veera Simha Reddy’s death.

Distraught, Veera Simha Reddy renounced worldly comforts and parted from Meenakshi, unaware she was pregnant. In the present, Jai defends his father’s ideals by protecting the factory and challenging Pratap Reddy. When Pratap insults Bhanumati, she realizes she has been manipulated all along. Overcome with guilt, she ends her life, entrusting Jai to complete his father’s mission. During her cremation, Pratap attacks again, but Jai defeats and kills him. Finally, Jai merges his aunt’s ashes with his father’s grave, symbolizing reconciliation, and vows to continue Veera Simha Reddy’s legacy.
