Antastulu Story
Zamindar Raja Jaganatha Rao is affluent and obsessed with discipline. He shows no preference between family and workers, punishing them harshly. His wife, Roopa Devi, and elder son, Raghu, abide by his rules, while the younger, Chinnababu, resents them. When Chinnababu violates the rules twice, Jaganatha Rao seeks to punish him, but tragically the boy dies of mental shock. Distressed, Raghu plans to leave home, but Jaganatha Rao offers him a vast sum of money to live a wealthy life and understand its value. Unfortunately, Raghu falls into the clutches of the malicious Naagu, who corrupts him. Later, Raghu attempts to trap a beautiful girl, Mala, but impressed by her virtue, he reforms and frees himself from Naagu’s influence. Meanwhile, at the palace, Jaganatha Rao suffers a mental breakdown as his past sins haunt him. Discovering this, Raghu returns, and Jaganatha Rao confesses before dying that he once deceived a woman named Raaji, with whom he fathered a daughter, Rani, who now lives as a busker. Jaganatha Rao expresses his wish to make Rani an equal heir, though without official acknowledgment to protect the family’s honor. Raghu convinces Rani to join the family, despite Roopa Devi’s opposition.
When Rani learns the truth of her birth, she demands full recognition of her identity. Conflict erupts as Roopa Devi orders Raghu to expel Rani, but he refuses and sides with her. Mala, initially suspicious, later realizes Raghu’s righteousness. Still, Rani persists in her fight, causing Raghu immense pain. Ultimately, she introduces Naagu as her fiancé, though Raghu refuses to accept it. Naagu then schemes to exploit the situation but ends up exposing Rani’s birth secret. At last, Roopa Devi acknowledges her guilt and accepts both Rani and Mala. Finally, the movie ends happily with the reunion of the family.
