Kanna Koduku Story
The film begins with a tycoon, Raja Rao, a firm believer in astrology, who thinks his elder son Krishna is not liable. Raja Rao’s sister Papayamma exaggerates it to make her son Shankar an heir. So, Raja Rao ostracizes him and counterfeits him as dead. Anyhow, his kind-hearted driver, Chinnaiah, safeguards Krishna and rears him. After a few years, Raja Rao is blessed with a second son Gopi, who he feels is a lucky charm. Parallelly, when Krishna reaches the city alone, Chinnaiah is sentenced to a crime. Unknowingly, he saves his brother Gopi when his mother, Janakamma, gets affectionate and shelters him. Years roll by, and Krishna grows up as a servant; though Janakamma loves him, she remains silent due to fear of her husband. Raja Rao’s pampering turns Gopi into a spoiled brat. Now Papayamma plans to make her daughter Rani’s marriage with Gopi, but Shankar’s good nature forbids her intentions. Meanwhile, Raja Rao’s business partner, Buchi Raju, fixes his daughter Bharati’s alliance with Gopi when Krishna and Bharati fall in love. Plus, Raja Rao removes Buchi Raju as his partner as his current horoscope is terrible.
Keeping the grudge in mind, Buchi Raju exploits Gopi to grab the property. At the same time, Krishna must quit for the misdeed committed by Gopi when Bharati also accompanies him. The furious Buchi Raju ploy provokes Gopi against Raja Rao, who threatens his parents and takes authority over the property. Through Shankar, Krishna learns about the rift and rushes for their rescue. Simultaneously, Chinnaiah releases Krishna’s birth secret and reveals it to Raja Rao. On the other side, Gopi double-crosses Papayamma by making Rani pregnant when she, too, admits her sin. In the meantime, a quarrel erupts between the brothers, and Raja Rao is wounded while guarding Krishna from harm. At last, the entire truth comes forward, and Gopi is reformed. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Krishna and Bharati.
