Sabhash Raja Story
The film begins with a millionaire, Raghu, who lives with his wife, Sarala, and their son. Raghu has a younger brother, Raja, who fled from the house in childhood after exposing Raghu’s misdeeds. Raja is now a pickpocket with his acolyte, Miriyalu, and falls for a busker, Rani. Once, when Raghu visits his branch office, his malicious manager, Madhu, entangles him with Manorama and drags him into vices. From then on, Raghu neglects his family and abandons them. At that point, Raja snatches Raghu’s pocket and notices their childhood and family photos, realizing the truth. However, Raghu refuses to accept him to avoid sharing his wealth. Eventually, Raja encounters Sarala, who shelters him unknowingly. Meanwhile, Madhu lusts after Rani after watching her dance, bribes her father Tata, and fabricates a false relationship between Raja and Sarala. Tata humiliates them, prompting Raja to reveal the truth and decide to reform his brother. Hence, he joins Sarala as a servant in Raghu’s house. Parallelly, Rani despises Raja, knowing his profession, so he surrenders his life as penance. Before leaving, he entrusts Sarala’s responsibility to Miriyalu and Rani.
Meanwhile, Madhu and Manorama swindle Raghu, but Miriyalu and Rani foil their plans. Soon after, Madhu locks Rani in Raghu’s room, but Miriyalu apprehends them with the help of the police. Later, Tata arranges Raja’s bail, after which he rushes to Raghu’s house. In the meantime, Raghu, drunk and intent on molesting Rani, is stopped by Sarala. Overcome with shame, Raghu finally repents and pleads for forgiveness. The movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Raja and Rani.
