Sakutumba Saparivaara Sametam Story

Vamsi, a middle-class employee, struggles with a dysfunctional family consisting of a drunkard father, a domineering mother, a gambling brother, and a selfish sister with a lazy husband. The only person who shows him affection is his sister-in-law, Vani. Disheartened by his family, Vamsi decides to remain single until he meets Vasanti. He proposes to her, but she insists on following the guidance of her grandfather, Janaki Ramaiah, a respected village arbiter. Janaki Ramaiah recounts the tragic story of his daughter, who was married into a wealthy family and suffered greatly, leading to her death. He insists that Vasanti be placed in an ideal family.

To win Janaki Ramaiah’s approval, Vamsi and his friend Ravi orchestrate a scheme, temporarily reforming Vamsi’s family and presenting them as ideal hosts. As Vasanti spends time with the family, love blossoms between her and Vamsi. When Janaki Ramaiah arrives for the arranged marriage, Vamsi refuses, revealing the truth and fulfilling his promise to his family. Impressed by Vamsi’s efforts and the genuine transformation of his family, Janaki Ramaiah blesses the union. Finally, the movie concludes happily with the marriage of Vamsi and Vasanti.
